Crate and Barrel Haul: Kitchen
When Jon and I moved to the city last year, we didn't have much of anything for our apartment. We avoided buying much beforehand to make the move from Michigan to New York easier. For the first week, we used paper plates and cups, and secondhand utensils Jon's mom sent with us. We've all been there, right? It worked for a minute, but we knew we needed proper dishes and utensils as soon as possible.
The first dinnerware set we purchased was a cheap set from Target and was only intended to hold us over until we found one we loved. The same went for our wine glasses, cocktail glasses, coffee mugs, pots and pans, couch—pretty much everything we owned.
After a year of living here (and spending close to four months stuck inside, thanks COVID), we decided we needed to spice up our apartment and replace a few things.
